Greater Vancouver
Three town centres, endless green space, central to everything.
The Area
British Columbia's third largest city sits right in the middle of the region, with fast SkyTrain links and some of the most ambitious new development anywhere in Metro Vancouver.
Burnaby is organised around three growing hubs. Metrotown is a high rise, transit connected downtown in its own right, Brentwood has been reinvented around a major shopping and residential district, and Lougheed continues to add homes, shops and services at the northeast edge.
Away from the towers, established neighbourhoods such as Capitol Hill, Buckingham Heights and Deer Lake offer larger lots, mature trees and, in the higher spots, sweeping views toward downtown and the North Shore mountains. Burnaby Mountain, Central Park and Deer Lake give the city an unusual amount of accessible green space.
For buyers, Burnaby often means more space and newer product for the money than the City of Vancouver, without giving up a central location or rapid transit.
