Tucked into the southeast corner of the city, Champlain Heights was among the last areas of Vancouver to be built out, and it shows in its leafy, planned layout. The community is a true cultural mosaic, home to longtime Vancouverites alongside families of Chinese, Filipino, Latino and South Asian heritage. Townhome complexes and extensive greenbelt trails give it a distinctive, park-like feel.

Getting around

The neighbourhood sits close to Southeast Marine Drive, giving drivers a fast link across the south of the city and over to Burnaby. Frequent buses connect residents to the Joyce-Collingwood SkyTrain and points beyond.

Schools & family

Local elementary schools serve the community well, including one designed by celebrated architect Arthur Erickson. The winding greenbelt trails and parks make the area especially welcoming for young families.
