Renfrew Heights

Renfrew Heights is a pleasant, mainly residential community on the east side near the Burnaby border. The arrival of rapid transit in the 1980s drew families of many backgrounds in search of more affordable homes, townhouses and condos. It remains a quiet, middle-class neighbourhood with a settled, welcoming feel.

Getting around

Two SkyTrain lines have served the area since the 1980s, giving residents fast access to downtown, Burnaby and beyond, with the nearest stations only a short trip away. Major arterials and frequent buses round out the options.

Schools & family

The neighbourhood offers dependable public schools and is home to the Sunny Hill Health Centre, a well-known provincial resource for children. Local parks give families plenty of room to play.

Everyday shopping and dining are close by along the surrounding commercial streets and in neighbouring Renfrew. Larger retail hubs in Burnaby are just minutes away by car or transit.
