Yaletown

The historic Roundhouse marks the start of Yaletown, a district named for the railway workers who followed the line from the town of Yale. Once a landscape of warehouses and rail yards, it has reinvented itself into one of downtown's most fashionable neighbourhoods. Converted lofts, glass towers, restaurants and boutiques now line the seawall.

Getting around

The Canada Line's Yaletown-Roundhouse station, the seawall and aquabus ferries make it effortless to move around downtown and across False Creek.
