Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant was planned from the ground up as a walkable, transit oriented village in Brampton's northwest, with its own GO station at the community's centre and homes, shops and schools built within easy walking distance. It represents one of the region's more deliberate attempts at new urbanist suburban planning.

Getting around

The Mount Pleasant GO station, on the Kitchener line, puts downtown Toronto within reach directly from the community's core.

Schools & family

Newer public and Catholic schools were built as part of Mount Pleasant's original master plan, within walking distance of most homes.

Shopping & lifestyle

A village square near the GO station covers everyday shopping and dining, purpose built into the community's walkable design.
