Langford

Langford has transformed from a quiet Western Communities suburb into one of Canada's fastest growing cities, anchored by the Bear Mountain golf resort and a genuine downtown of its own.

Bear Mountain's two Jack Nicklaus designed courses and Westin resort put Langford on the map as a destination in its own right, and the surrounding master planned community continues to add homes on the slopes above Victoria's Western Communities.

Westhills has emerged as Langford's other major growth node, a large planned neighbourhood around Westhills Lake with schools, shops and its own community centre, while Belmont Market and the Langford core have grown into a genuine retail and civic hub for the whole region.

Goldstream Provincial Park's old growth forest, waterfalls and well known salmon run sit at the city's edge, giving Langford a rare combination of new construction, everyday convenience and immediate wilderness access, all still commuting distance from downtown Victoria.
