Okanagan
A small, sunny lakefront district between West Kelowna and Summerland.
The Area
Peachland stretches along Okanagan Lake's west shore between West Kelowna and Summerland, a small district that has kept a quiet, low-key waterfront character while its larger neighbours have grown.
Hardy Falls Regional Park's waterfall and salmon spawning channel sit an easy walk from the historic downtown strip along the lake, and Rattlesnake Island just offshore is a favourite paddling and boating destination through the summer months.
Highway 97 runs along the lakeshore through Peachland, giving quick access both north to West Kelowna and Kelowna and south to Summerland and Penticton, while keeping the district itself a compact, walkable strip along the water.
Homes here range from modest older cottages near the beach to newer view properties on the hillside above, and Peachland's smaller scale and slower pace continue to draw buyers priced out of, or simply tired of, the busier Kelowna market.
