Downtown Kamloops lines the South Thompson River around Riverside Park, where the Rivers Trail path draws walkers and cyclists along the water within sight of the confluence with the North Thompson. Older character homes and a growing number of condos sit within walking distance of the Sandman Centre, restaurants and Kamloops' historic Victoria Street.

Getting around

Victoria Street and the Overlanders and Halston bridges connect downtown to the North Shore, with the Trans-Canada and Yellowhead highways both close by.
