Hammond

Hammond traces its roots to the Hammond Cedar Mill, one of the mills that first built Maple Ridge's economy along the Fraser River, and the neighbourhood still carries an older, working-town character on its western edge near Pitt Meadows. Character homes from the early twentieth century sit alongside newer infill, and Kanaka Creek Regional Park's trails and salmon runs are close at hand.

Getting around

Lougheed Highway and the Pitt Meadows border are close by, with the West Coast Express Port Haney station a short drive for weekday commuters.
