Hatzic

Hatzic centres on its namesake lake, a favourite for anglers and cabin owners along the Lougheed Highway east of downtown Mission, with the agricultural benchland above it remaining some of the Fraser Valley's most productive farm country. The mix of lakefront properties, acreages and newer subdivisions gives Hatzic a more relaxed, semi rural feel than the city core.

Getting around

The Lougheed Highway runs directly through Hatzic, connecting it to downtown Mission in about ten minutes and onward to Dewdney and Deroche.

Schools & family

Hatzic Elementary and Hatzic Secondary serve the community directly, among the larger schools in the Mission school district.
