Hart Highlands and the surrounding Hart Highway corridor have become Prince George's busiest growth area, with newer subdivisions, big box retail and easy access to Highway 97 north toward the Peace region. The Hart's semi-rural edges still offer larger lots for buyers wanting more space.

Highway 97 runs the length of the Hart, connecting to downtown Prince George in about ten minutes and north toward Chetwynd and the Peace.
